Functional skills Relay for Life evebt
The Relay for Life event for area Functional Skills classes resulted in a day of exciting activity for participants from northeastern Indiana counties. Lakeland High School hosted the event which was supported by a LIFE grant.

LaGrange Independent Foundation for Endowments, or LIFE, is a philanthropic group of young people, supported by LaGrange County Community Foundation and a grant from Dekko Foundation.

Representatives from each grade, 8 through 12, from the four county high schools are members of the LIFE group. They are selected when they enter grade 8 and serve throughout their high school career as the advisory committee for the donor advised non-permanent fund held by LaGrange County Community Foundation. LIFE submits a grant request for funding to Dekko annually.

Grant applications submitted to the office of LCCF are evaluated by the LIFE Youth Pod in order to select recipients.
