LCCF Administered Scholarships

Since 1991, LaGrange County Community Foundation, through the generosity of its donors and the leadership of its volunteer Board of Directors, has developed a scholarship program that offers significant financial support for a wide range of educational and career interests. Presently, the community foundation is offering nearly 40 scholarships countywide. Several of those offer multiple awards over 4 years.

The deadline for the 2012 Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship is Friday, January 20, 2012 at 4:00 PM. All other LCCF administred scholarship applications are due no later than February 24, 2012 at 4:00 PM. See our Available Scholarships page for a complete listing and applications.

The availability and payment of all scholarship awards, both one time and renewable, are determined annually at the sole discretion of the LaGrange County Community Foundation Board of Directors. All board decisions are final..

Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship

To qualify students must have:

•Applied to and been accepted at an Indiana 4-year college or university

•Taken the SAT and have scores recorded on official high school transcript

•Participated in community service confirmed with at least one legible signature from an unrelated adult sponsor or supervisor

The scholarship may be used for any area of study and offers full tuition and books in return for a commitment to four years of full-time baccalaureate study at any accredited Indiana College or University and ten years of career tracking.It does not include room and board. One Lilly Endowment Community Scholarships will be awarded in 2011.

Scholars Program

LCCF actively supports and promotes the 21st Century Scholars Program. Based upon financial need, students may be eligible to sign up for the program in the 7th and 8th grade.For more details and the opportunity to apply, students and their parents are urged to visit the program's website at www.in.gov/ssaci.
